Well...noone hates standing around and waiting for a thief to steal someones shift *****...or "casing" members cars more then me.... (which is why i dont really go to meets anymore)

but anyway.....

There are numerous photographers in the NY/NJ/PA area that i'm sure I can get to be involved in this.

Now onto the Details.....


The Who - A Select Group of 10-15 Members (selected by myself and a few others) to have their car shot over a period of a few hours

The What - To build the owner of the cars portfolio (vs junk shots in a parking lot) and both parties get to walk away with something...Photographer will supply a CD of all the shots to the owner of the vehicle or weblink

The When - Will be a forthcoming Saturday or Sunday

The Where - Location will be disclosed to ONLY the photographers AND cars involved

The Why - Why not?...Sounds more interesting then standing in your local dairy queen or Wawa staring at the same 4 cars you see every weekend.

The Man - Yes i am.


Now if people are interested... and this turns out good I'll setup a MONTHLY one and allocate some time.

If someone wants to be a PART of it, feel free to post that you are or if you feel more comfy (after posting) pm me some pix of your setups.

Awesome idea! Hopefully in another month my car will be worth taking pictures of My buddy with his black DC2 would probably be down as well.

 

Im in, im from the upper westchester area. I wont be home from school for like another week though.

 

Im down you took some pics of me and robs car the s2ks back in the day at the mall I was his boy changed a few things up on the car hopefully shes worthy of a nice shoot now lol

i would contact Honda-Tech user Blackfire about this. hes a NY photographer with connections int he right places, i havent spoken to him in awhile but i know hes always out scouting for new and exciting cars to get on film/disk and build his portfolio. Im sure building someone's car portfolio would be fine with him as well.

 

I'd be down but recently sold my rims (window shopping now) and mom backed into my driver side door good luck though

is a good friend of mine , as well as a really sick phoyographer , im sure i can get him involved if you want

I am down. I have a Black 97 coupe, ITR interior, white Regamasters, siR lip, CTR headlights. My two buddies have RHD EG6s as well, so I can see if they'll be in good shape to take some shots, I know 1 will be for sure.

Do you have any venues in mind?
