Default Help with EJ foglights

I have a 99 dx and I put "jdm" foglights on it and ran the wires with the switch perfectly nothing wrong but a couple days after the driver side foglight stopped working and I'm not sure if the bulb blew or if the wiring is [freak]ed because my passenger side one works..I figured if it was wiring both would go..I thought it blew because I washed my car and maybe water got in but when I left the car wash they were both working..please help@#$%^&*

wow, that's weird cuz the same thing happened to mines! i got mines off of password JDM and yes mines worked after the wash as well but the next day they both went out and the wiring was bad! i fried the wiring harness and had to use a new harness!

maybe you just need to take apart your bumper and see the wiring that is connected to the fog that is out and see if any water got'en to it! or maybe the bulb blew! but ELE. TAPE the hack out of those weak wires!

Often the '96-'98 DEPO foglights have wiring and grounding issues, but I don't hear of it as often in the '99-'00 foglights.

And yes, the non-OEM lights PWJDM sells are DEPO.

Yeah, this was case and point for the ones I got for my '94 coupe.

I had some for my '98 coupe and every time I stopped one of them would be out. I'd have to kick it to make it ground again. Then they had leaks. Bad. I slathered them with clear RTV and they still would end up with close to an inch of water in them. I had bulbs explode in the housing.

I switched to the Esuse brand and haven't had a problem since. I would like to get a set of OEM lights, but I'm having trouble finding the ones I want for a decent price (there's four different sets).
