engine oil
The guy who is doing my b16 swap for me is trying to sell me on Motul oil. Its like $40 for 5quarts so its expensive (Mobil 1 5quarts $22). Has anyone used this oil and have any take on it. I use the car as a daily so the oil gets changed pretty frequently so if its not worth the extra cash i wont do it. thanks in advance
so everyone pretty much feels that its not worth the extra $20 per oil change? is there any issues taht could occur if i were to go from Motul to Mobil 1 next oil change or vice versa

Then don't even bother with Mobil 1, and stick with a quality conventional oil instead.

yeah i know that mobil 1 or quakerstate or any other major synthetic brand are personal preference but im just trying to find out why Motul is 20 more for 5 quarts than the normal synthetics
dont not pay extra for boutique oils unless you need it for racing.
buy an over the counter synthetic or conventional oil for your street car.
on my daily drivers i use unocal 76 synthetic blend oil dor $2/quart.
