manual to auto?
ok so here's the story. my brother's got my old bubble w/ jdm b18c(sir-g) swap and he's gonna get rid of the car cause it's giving him too much grief. i've got an automatic civic dx with the almighty
d15. my plan is to swap engines with him and have him sell the car with the d15. my question is, would it just basically involve swapping the D-engine, automatic shifter assembly, pedals, and ECU, into his hatch? he shouldn't have to do any wiring correct? or is there something "special" i have to do. i've only found auto to manual conversion how-to's so far so yeah.
you're all probably asking why we don't just trade cars huh? well, my hatches body is in muuuuuch better condition than his

id never done a conversion b4 but i would bet that you just have to swap the engines and trannys, shift linkage and all, and everything else u said, pedals ect. Wiring shouldnt be an issue other then for the swap itself.
requires welding,
to do the auto-> manual you cut some sheet metal out around the shfter.
you also need to cut and remove the auto mount,
basically you do it in reverse, cut the section out of your car tack it into place on his car.....easy.......but for someone who has never done a b swap or auto to manual swap i would steer clear
it's great practice for a k swap though
