Audio Console ?
got my audio console from honda...so fresh
problem....there is about a 1/2"-1" gap with the console and center console (where the shifter is).....the audio console overlaps the center console so that you can still see a little bit of the center console below the ashtray/cig. lighter
the first bracket that you put at the top is suppose to be as far forward as possible but im not wanting to break or twist the plastic on the dash too much....anyone have any problems like this when installing the audio console

just installed one in my EG last week, i also had a small gap but i did some research and found that these do not always fit perfect even though its an OEM part..
it mayb be just a little smaller because i only moved the center console up as far as it would go....but its a realllyyyy tight pull to put the screws in...i know its pretty flexible but im not tryin to break this $100 piece of plastic lol
ohhhhhhhhh i know
flip the upper mounting bracket. upside down (you have it upside down) my gap was almost an inch wide when i had that upper bracket upside down. also you really need to finnese it in there to get a NICE fit, not just a clip in and go type thing.......tighten down all the screws and keep adjusting it.
like a front end its not just tightin everything and go, its loosen here tighten there move this ETC

well i went by the instructions...cuz im suppose to have the bigger holes in the bracket facing front right? but maybe if i put it upside down...i could easily adjust it going forward or backward....but yea i dont want to just have it where it works...i want it right...thanks for all the info...keep it comin if u have any other ideas

That gap below your cig lighter is from improper install. I did the same thing so dont worry. The bottom of the metal bracket is supposed rest on top of the shifter console not below. This will eliminate your gap below the cig lighter. As far as the other gap between the bottom of the console and shifter console just try and adjust it as best you can. Good Luck
i must have said it wrong...but theres not really a gap below the cig lighter....just that you can see the shifter console below it...the bottom of the audio console (big plastic piece) overlaps to where u can see the shifter console and is a little away from the cig lighter and ashtray...
is that better maybe??...ill try and get a pic...at work right now

Nah my reply was to the gap you were talking about I think. Yeah post a pick and we'll see if its the same gap, but I'm pretty sure we are on the same page, you might not understand what I'm exactly trying to say. Which in that case my bad
