Calling anyone with a lathe and some 1.25 dia Aluminum round bar
Ill see if we have any in the shop, then you can just make a "donation" to VT baja.
But i dont think we have any that long.
what is it anyways?

i'd be down for that. its a measuring rod that i want to use to line my motor up on both sides using the hubs and the int. shaft/diff. not really line up, but measure the difference on both sides to make sure the motor is straight relative to the car.

ok i have material that would work perfect. its 6061 also.
problem is we can only bore into it about 3" from each end so do you need the whole thing ID to be 1.100"? or can you get by with just the ends boredto 1.100" and 2 inches in the middle being 1.050"
lmk

look closer at the drawing, the whole thing is 1.25" except for the 3/4" on each end... the 1.100, 1.115 is a dimensional tolerance for both ends.

This is exactly what we do. I would say you are looking at about $40 for the 2 pieces shipped to your door.
