Default engine bay idea?

i was thinking of this idea and wanted to know what you guys think and any input would be good.
i have a fuji blue 06 civic si(just wanted to put that in)
i was thinking of making the engine bay black(or may be black and silver)
-black/(carbon fiber) spark plug cover
-black/silver valve cover(wanted blue to go with the car color but cant find the paint/site that has it to hold the heat)(i have a shiny purple cover now from past owner and have a old k20a3 valve cover from my old rsx but i dont know if it will fit but i was going to use this to paint)
-black intake manifold(past owner painted it a shiny silver)
-black/(carbon fiber-comptech supercharger cover) intake manifold cover
not sure what else i could change to black but i thought it would be a unique?

just want to see what you guys thought about this idea i had. just something to make it unique

Sounds like it would look good. But it's too much work for me considering the engine bay looks just fine as it is.

But if you have the time go for it.

spark plug cover is already black. if you want a black manifold cover get one from the ep3. i wouldnt paint all that stuff unless you know how to paint GOOD. if your just dicking around it could turn out bad and youll want to punch yourself in the face.

I totally agree with Sivic 3 on this issue, specially if your going to paint the valve cover. I have some experience (not a professional) in painting cars and engine parts and I decided to have a professional powder coat my valve cover. A new valve cover is not very expensive, but it is a pain if you screw up. Make sure you use a high quality paint with the proper temp ratings as well.

Btw, if you do screw up, let me know, I still have my stock valve cover. I bought a new one to send out to be powder coated.
