how do i change the trans fluid in an auto 07 civic? the only time i messed with an auto honda tranny i was taking it out of a crx and throwing it away. also how do i change the plugs in this same car? it looked like a huge nut under the coil packs if i rember right. i havent really looked at the car much just oil changes in it. thanks.

there is a drain bolt on the bottom of the tranny that you can fit a 3/8 ratchet. just loosen it up and let the fluid drain and then tighten it up when its done. then refill the tranny from the top. for the spark plugs take the cover off and take the 10mm nut off that holds down the coil and take out plug. how many miles are on ur car cause honda says ur plugs could last up to 100k miles

 

its my moms car its got 30k. maybe ill wait on the plugs and just do the trans fluid. what else should be done at 30k??

 

oh ya and when you fill it does it have to be running and warm when you check it like a chevy??
