Hey guys I need some help pulling the engine codes. I have a 2000 Civic CX. I swapped a z6 manifold and TB on. Changed from 3 wire IACV to 2 wire IACV plug, re-pinned the harness plug because of the 3 to 2 wire. ECU is a socketed P28 with an Ostrich 2.0 Emulator with Crome. I also have a Innovate LC-1 Wideband. Oh and car is OBD2b so I have the appropriate OBD2b to OBD1 xenocron ECU converter harness.
Here's how it went:
installed wideband
verified wideband worked
installed manifold and TB
spliced in 2-wire IACV plug
installed P28 and Ostrich, loaded up basemap
started car for first time...idled badly... IACV wasn't working
repinned harness plug for IACV....started car...idles nicely
right now the car idles nicely at 900rpms, I can connect and get/put/verify maps on the ostrich/P28 with Crome, I got the ECU/Ostrich/cables new from xenocron.com so I would highly doubt it's a hardware issue.
Here's the problem
I have a CEL on and I can't pull the codes. I tried the pin/wire trick with the 2-pin plug by the ECU kick panel. Tried different wires...etc...whatever I do I can't get the CEL to flash the codes, it just stays on solid the entire time.
Any tips or suggestions would be awesome!
THanks

I don't think it is the ostrich as it is doing a fine job doing stuff. I heard that there is a jumper directly on the ECU that you can do something with to pull codes but I'm not sure what or where it is.
