Default humming sound coming out from cam gear

Recently the head was repaired i had a blown head gasket. Car not heating up or anything. I still feel hoses hard until thermostat opens..which is usually when fans turn on.

After work was done i noticed humming sound coming from timing belt area. I took of the t. cover to hear better where sound was coming from. I noticed the noise was coming from the cam gear. I checked my timing belt and feels kinda tight. Kept on checking and im hearing wierd thunt noise also but dont know if its the water pump or tensioner.

Water pump is a year old as well as the tensioner.

Define tight? Like you can't flex the belt at all? It can have up to 3/4ths an inch of deflection. If it's too tight, it can cause premature bearing failure in the water pump and such...
