My clutch on my 02 si just started to squeak. Is this because I need to change the clutch?
If so typically how much am I going to spend to have that fixed? Thank's for your time.

When it's time to change the clutch, you'll know because it'll start to slip. As for the squeak, not sure about that.

 

EP3 and RSX clutch pedals can squeak. its not a big deal for the most part, but I've had a squeaky clutch pedal for 20000 turbo'd miles.

yeah i get that squeak some times too... why is that but i dont think it comes from the pedal in my case

i never had this issue until i raced the car at cmi last weekend. now everytime i step on the clutch i hear it sweak a lil.. does anybody happen to know exactly what causes this?

 

see there was this one time where the pedal just started to squeak. things start to squeak when the lubrication has worn down or completely off. spray some silicon lubricant on the actual metal part behind the clutch pedal al the way to the fire wall. I just turned my stereo up a little bit more

 

ive tried lubricating everything down there but there seems no way to stop the squeek
