Default help wire harness butcher job

there's this green wire that goes to the alternator. And on the way their thiers 3 other green wires that feed off of it.

i have 2 codes tps and iats . the wires that feed off of that one wire , tps, iats sensor wires, and i think its the 02 sensor. or knock sensor in which i do not have a plug for i got a new iats and cel is still on.

I don't know where the harness cam from i got the car with the swap in it . I can take pics if their is any distinctive ways to tell. I have some wires that don't go anywhere so they probably connect to these things but do not know much about harnesses.

can this be a reason that i have codes ? is this a "trick" that some people use and have no repercussions ?
