Default engine wash with no timing belt cover

wanting to wash my bay but I have no upper tbelt cover so I'm afraid if water gets in n a puddle forms at the bottom or even if the tbelt gets wet that I'll slip teeth. Any1 want to verify?

why not put the upper timing belt cover on.....there is no need to have it exposed on a street car anyway

I got a brand new one in the bad I will sell you

I would just cover it up with a bag the best you could and don't spray water directly in int....I doubt it would slip a tooth if it did get wet but better safe than sorry.....
