Looks can be deceiving. Many people (myself included) have learned that little fact the HARD way.
I don't trust companies I've never heard of.....that's all there is to it. Just because something LOOKS nice.....or LOOKS well-built.....doesn't mean it actually is.

He must EARN my awesome cookies!
So far I see no justification to prepare a batch for someone attempting to purchase an EBAY intake.

I just bought an injen cai for my si coupe from CorSport Online Store, you think it will be legit? it WAS cheaper than any other sites ive seen, 255 shipped

Both, but primarily the former of the 2 questions. The latter probably similar but with all the ebay fail safes, should be fine.

If it's a legit company like Injen being sold by a third party company then that's cool. As long as it's the correct intake. But i've seen alot of cheap knock-off parts and heard too many bad stories about people receiving incorrect parts that don't fit on their vehicles from Ebay.
Some companies on that site are good and worth purchasing from. My suggestion is to just do a little research and make sure you're purchasing from a reputable source. Don't just buy the first thing that catches your eye just because it seems like an awesome deal.
Here's a good example.......

Corsport is a VERY legit company. I've purchased several products from there already.

I had an ebay CAI on my si... while i had it i had no issues what so ever.. Sounded great and performed awesome.. I went to churping third on a regular bases and spinning 2nd hard ... I find no problems in ebay intakes? their basicaly a copy of the brand names.. Instead they dont have the badge... but if not the same... I wouldnt mind slapping on my ebay again
I wouldnt listen to every one yes its ebay shouldnt get it but its not going to blow up your car like the others stated..

take a minute to read and learn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_flow_sensor
You should understand now why a "tube" needs to be designed correctly when there's a sensor measuring airflow in it.
What you're saying about ebay intakes is in fact true for most Hondas. A 3" ebay SRI with a velocity stack makes more power than just about anything else on a NA b-series. With Honda's use of MAF sensors in the k20z3's, things have changed. </TD></TR></TABLE>

As long as the VSA is off, "chirping the tires" shouldn't be very hard. (it's never been for me)
