my foglight bulbs were yellow, that would be oem right??

1. are the fogs themselves yellow or do you have the fog covers?
2.when i say oem replacement alot of the h3 bulbs that advertise as being 55w actually run brighter (and therefore hotter). some people say it doesnt make a difference but i am one of the few that have actually run into the problem of having my housing start to melt.
on a side note the bulbs that melted my housings were the silverstar h3's. they look good but they cost me my housing. also i want to stress that this was my personal experience and that others have said they have had no problem
