Default cracked d16y7 manifold

i replaced my O2 sensot and i found that my manifold is cracked, i dont have any codes or CEL, i was thinking of welding it but i was afraid that my cat is jammed, how should i know that its still usefull?! does it have a code?

i think u have cranked/tightened o2 sensor too hard.
u can weld it back on.but a aftermarket or oem used exhaust manifold should not cost u too much. any d series header will fit.

i have a d15b oem header, but it only have a place for 1 o2 sensor, i was thinking of welding the 2nd o2 sensor, but i was afraid it wont work

MagnaFlow makes a header/high flow cat combo, just like stock, that has the correct )2 sensor bungs and everything. It sells on procivic.com for $550. You should try it out and let us know how it works!

All the y7 manifolds crack when they get old, the heat cycles over time of expansion and contraction get the best of the cast iron and they crack. Usually right down the middle. All the oem manifolds can crack but its more common on y7's because of the cat being inside them. Its more heat and backpressure.
