Default hub assembly drive shaft question

hey guys i need your help! needed a new wheel bearing and hub assembly, so i got the parts and they are pressed together and ready to go on the car with the rotor. are there any special tricks to getting the drive shaft through the hub assembly? the new hub i have just doesn't want to go through. seems like it will go through about half way, then gets stuck. ive tried to force it on holding the drive shaft, carefully using screw drivers and trying to force it on without ripping the cv boot, etc. is there something wrong here or is it just because the hub is new? help please!

sorry didn't take any. the hub just won't go all the way through the drive shaft. it's stuck about half way through. slides fine until that point.
