I broke this plastic sensor that came off the back of the block near that coolant pipe. It was blue and plastic. Whats the name of it?

 

Sounds like the knock sensor.

Agreed, there are only 2 there knock and oil pressure. Oil is right above the filter.

 

Knock Sensor.

I've done it, and it's not fun getting that out.

Oh God, no kidding. Made a 19 year old cry.

Not to mention needing a wrench over an inch large (I used 1 and 1/16) to get it out/in within that space.

Car up on ramps, oil filter off, flashlight waving, 1/2 drive wrench that's like a foot long...

Not fun.

 

well i do not no what it is called but i do no that i have a queston what number #1 was called some time ago before i swapped so her is some pic of my old block maybe this will help them and me out on which one it is
