Default PROBLEM WITH SWAP!! NEED HELP!

friend has as quoted "i have a gsr block obd2... with 00 b16 head fresh rebuild on the complete motor..i am running a obd2 wire harness with obd2 dizzy...will be running a chipped p28 ecu.. i was wondering if anyone could help me out i have a few question...i was told that i need a crank angle sensor i believe is called...it goes to the block near timing belt...because my car is throwing excesive gas which without a crank angle sensor the car doesnt know the correct timing and tries to fire all cyclinders and sends so much gas...or if i ran a obd1 dizzy which i herd has a crank angle sensor in it do i still need the crank angle sensor on my block?..or do i need the crank angle sesnor on the block with the obd2 dizzy?..or i can run od1 dizzy with no crank angle sensor on block??...im lost about this crank angle sensore i dont know if i need it or not can anyone help me?? "

yes if you use the obd1 dizzy will fix your problem but you need the obd1 harness

the sensor located by the timing belt is used to detect misfires on OBD2 applications. If you are using an OBD1 ECU, it just gets ignored. It may as well not be there. Infact, it's not there on stock setups.

The Crank fluctuation sensor just detects misfires. It does not affect fuel curve.

The CKP, TDC, and CYP are located inside the distributor. Your bad gas mileage could be caused by a ton of ****. But not the CKF (crank fluctuation sensor).

Hope you're down with the OPP in the LBC.

btw from wat iv seen everytime he goes to start. itturning, wont catch. so far we ve got it started twice. all the other times jus keeping turning thats it and smell gas since it wont catch and will back fire outa the intake mani. sometimes...

check the cam and spark timing. make sure it's getting spark.
