2001 EXL A/C issue
Fellas,
I have a Honda Accord 2001 EXL 4-cylinder.
I changed my card battery a few days ago at wal-mart under warranty. Immediately following the battery change the Code question appeared which I did not remember by heart. Came back home and loaded the code and everything came on like audio and all BUT the AC.
The AC control lights up and all appears normal but the AC just will not actually turn ON, Cant feel the click at all. Tried to disconnect and reconnect battery and reloading the security code but still same situation.
Any clues ?
Thanks
Sunny

try this
car is off
set the intermittent wiper ring to mid way with everything turned off
turn car on for 10 seconds and then turn off
turn car on ans see if that resolves the issue. if not check to see if any fuses are blown

Tried it and all the fuses are okay too.
But I picked this instruction from service book to stick a metal paper clicp in ac pressure switch to check the clutch circuit. And yeah I heard the click and the AC Fans started running. Though it did not COOL.
The book says in that case I need to go see HONDA or an AC tech because system pressure is either too high or too low.
Any thing that I can do at home ?
Thanks
Sunny
