B16 Del Sol gears in a 92-93 LS YS1?
Ok.. My brother came up on a B16 Del Sol tranny, but the fourth and fifth gears are shot, completely unusable. He said he would prettymuch give me the tranny for me to do with what I wish. And I remember reading somewhere that the Teg LS (92-93) YS1 tranny can accept Hydro gear sets. So my question is: Will the gears from a 1994-1995 B16 Del Sol Hydro tranny fit the YS1 Mainshaft/countershaft? If so, I'd plan on using the Del Sol 1-2-3 gears, and my LS 4-5th. Any insight would be appreciated.
*Edit*
Yes, i've searched, but I haven't found a source saying which gears fit which main/counter shafts.

ok first off yes a hydro gear set will fit in the ls,gsr ys1 case second is that i was told you have to keep the hydro trans parts together and the cable trans together you can not interchange them.i have a b16 gear set in a ys1 case also and this is what used to do the gear swap.i hope that this helps you

Well, its shitty because if the gears/shafts were interchangeable, i'd have a free set of 1-2-3 B16 gears/differential. But, I guess just using the LS isn't all that bad. Again, thanks.
