ok today I hit a pot hole..it was not big but there was a car next to me in the other lane and the lane itself was too damn small to avoid it..anyway now my front pass side wheel( not sure what it is) is squeeking..not a scrape but almost sounds like a squeeky bed..can anyone help me so I can head in the right direction? its only around the streets..on the highway you can't hear it...

could it be a blown strut? gr-2's are not expensive to replace.

 

A blown shock would leak. Can you bounce the car and make it squeak?

 

i did not try to bounce the car yet but when it bounces like over bumps and stuff and squeeks and when i let go of the brake and the hit the gas to take off, as soon as the load shifts you hear the squeek. also, i have a kyb gr-2's and they are gas filled. idk if that makes a diff on leaking. Thanks

 

If you can make the squeak by bouncing the car, you may be able to pinpoint the source.
