Default no vtec

I recently had my head off putting in new cams, and when I put it all together my vtec wont engage and I got a cel for vtec pressure switch. So I jumped my vtec wires to bypass the pressure switch and my vtec hit once and now I cant get it to engage again. I did drop the solenoid when I was installing it. Would this damage it?

Whats your oil presure. Throwing that codes can mean your not getting enough oil pressure. Espically if you did the rig job on the Vtec Solenoid and the Pressure housing.

Test the Vtec on your ECU. Hook a little light up to the Vtec solenoid, and drive around, and everytime you hit Vtec the light will come on. This will tell you the ECu is fully functional.

Sounds like Lack of Oil Presure
