God awful suspension squeak, Koni/GC setup, please help
I'm approaching my wits end with this. I installed Koni Yellows and Ground Controls into my 2004 Civic EX Coupe on Monday the 31st.
Everything is fine and dandy except the drivers side rear end creaks and groans. It's pretty sensitive, if I sit in the car, push or lift on the car, it makes an audible creak.
It's noticeable under acceleration from a standstill, under cornering, pretty much all conditions except sitting still.
This isn't a minor creak, if you have your windows down and are doing less than 40mph, you'll hear me.
Everything seems to be assembled correctly. I've WD-40'd the living bejesus out of all moveable parts. I had one suggestion of checking the swaybar endlink which I have not done yet.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

this topic is from quite awhile ago, but checking your endlink would not be a bad idea. Also may want to replace your bushings considering that wd-40 is a degreaser meaning its going to crack and rot rubber componenents.
where iexactly s the creaking coming from?
I can tell you this, most older lowered cars will creak no matter what you do. I've tried to solve my creaking problems but i've finally gave up and let it be.

i wouldn't use wd-40, imo thats a temporary thing. what u should use is some type of grease, i used valvoline multi-purpose grease for the bushings on my friend's car (energy suspension bushings all around). and all those annoying noises went away.
u dont have to use the valvoline grease, i just told u that so u can get a general idea of what i'm talking about
