Default axle issue !!! suggestions on pricing for oEM or aftermarket !@!

orite !!! i went to get an oil change today... after i got my new suspension setup.. it was a b@tch to get the car up on the jacks !! after i got my oil change my mechanic noticed some grey grease coming out from the driver side and concluded that it was my axle gone to shiznels !!! he said that it would cost me around 160.00 to replace it OEM !!! i was wondering if there are any aftermarket axles out there that are better and if i should replace it with the OEM or not ? because the passenger side is still fine ... what do you guys think ?

just pay the 160 and get oem. I bought an aftermarket axle about 10k ago and it pops now, and the boot isn't even broken. Besides 160 isn't bad for an axle anyway.

I went with an AutoZone axle... whether it holds up as long as OEM or not, the day I snap it driving too hard is when I smile and remember that lifetime warranty.
