my car doesnt have an aux input on the console below the radio...is it on the back side of the hu??
how do you disasemble (sp) the radio (remove) to wire an extension near the cupholder?

its an ex 2006

 

should be on the front of the unit by the pocket beneath the radio. If you bought it new...take it back to the dealer and get it fixed.

 

if u have a dx, it doesnt come standard

 

If you have a 2006 Sedan LX, it doesn't have AUX input.

I didn't know I had one until like 3 months after I had the car. Look directly under the cigerette lighter. Thats where it will be. And I have an 06 LX

 

well thanks for your answers, but i notice 2 things...my car is an EX, and doesnt have the aux input below the radio (where the pocket is), my fathers car its also en EX, but 2007, does have the little cover aside from the cig lighter, a little sqare tab that opens andd reveals a mini plug....but mine doesnt...
well, 3 things....mine doesnt have the oil life meter also....where could they be????????

Actually don't know they should be there, if not it is a freak accident and your dealer should be able to help you there.

dealers just said, well yours doesnt have it...some 06 were like this...

no help from them...any other input about the aux input on the radio?

 

i have the same problem, i got a Civic coupe 06, and im looking for the auxiliar input.. i have search a lot and found that some 06 have it, but they're the european version and also that the difference between 06 and 07 is that auxiliar input.

im planning to remove the dashboard this weekend and look if the radio has an auxiliar input or i'll have to buy one.
