Does anyone have pics showing where the "black box" immobilizer is in our tsx keys. I am trying to do the accord fob mod for my tsx using the instruction from moda_way's posts but some pics are loading or have been removed.

if i remember correctly the "black box" in the orginal TSX key is right dab in the center almost behind the "A" symbol onthe key.

I first time I cut my TSX i went right down the center with my dremel and ended up scoring the "black box" DON'T DO THIS !!!!

Take your dremel and cut the black plastic all the way around the outside edge of the key and then slowly start to pull the black plastic back slowly. As you work your way to the center of the key it will start to get harder to pull it back, then you'll know your getting closer to the "black box"

ok I just looked at the link you posted and that's the same mod I did at first. the accord key mod, it was SOOOOOOO EASYYY that I deceided to try the TL switch blade mod.

OK so if you look at the picture of the Accord key fob opened up, the "black box" would be in the center of the 4 buttons. So since the TSX key doesn't have the bottons on key just imagine the black box just about in the center of the key sorta like if you look at the Accord key right in the middle of the 2 side buttons and the 2 top and bottom buttons
