Default Streaky Wiper Blades

My wiper blades on my 07 SI are constantly streaky. I replaced the original blades with honda replacements, and less than a week of rainy New England weather and they are streaking again. I even cleaned them with some rubbing alcohol and that only help for a little while. Does anyone else notice this? Are there any better aftermarket blades out there? Any suggestions are welcome.

Have you ever tried Rain-X Windshield Washer Additive? I can't find the kind I get anywhere on their website. Here is pretty much the equivalent to the stuff I have though. http://rainx.com/Products/Wind....aspx

I got the stuff I use at Walmart. It is Rain-X Windshield Washer Fluid Additive. Actually, I just found a link to it on another site.
http://theconsumerlink.com/Rai...4/101

You add that stuff to your windshield washer fluid reservoir and when you use the squirters, an equal amount of Rain-X and washer fluid is spread onto your windshield. The rain-x stuff works great and I use it in all of my cars. If a wiper starts to streak, I use the squirters, and they don't streak for a while.

Mine streak sometimes as well. I put Rain-X on the windshield and it completely eliminated the problem (until it wears off that is). I'll have to try the additive too.

Its great because you don't have to apply it by hand everytime it wears off. It lasts as long as your reservoir full of fluid does, and you probably only use like an 8th of the bottom of rain-x for a whole reservoir of fluid. So it definitely lasts a long time for a $5 bottle.

People always ask me what kind of additive I use because you can see so well, even when it is raining.

I'd recommend getting another set of OEM wiper inserts for your Civic.

Try a set of Bosch Icons. I had them on my Vue for about ten months and they still were PERFECT. (around 25,000 miles of use) Got rid of them and gave them to a friend that needed wipers on his '88 DX, and they somehow fit.
