Default 93 civic d15b7 throttle question

My question is , when i am going up a hill or just driving and i put my foot into it it boggs out like it has no throttle response . could it be a dirty throttle body . This is my first honda i have ever owned .

If it is happening a low RPM I would suggest changing the fuel filter, because that same thing just happend to me not more than a week ago in my '91. If it is doing it at a higher RPM, I would start with cleaning the TB, but also consider checking you spark plugs and make sure there are not all burnt up. It sounds stupid, but maybe check the distributor cap, and rotor button. I had also found that my rotor button screw was starting to get loose. Worth checking it would only take 10 - 20 minutes to check all the plugs, and the cap and rotor.
