First thx to every1 who helped me last time well my hea dgasket blew an g0t it replaced but another problem its still overheating an my fan is running all the time but yet it stil overheats?my engine is set to high compression an its a vtec top 1991 ls special so can any one tell me what's still goin on?why its still doing that it iz mayb sumthing aint put bacc right? Pls help thx any info
you might need a new water pump because your making higher compressions. but check your thermostat and fluid lines for clogs and definitely check the radiator for clogs. Cars overheat because the fluid flow is not flowing fast enough and doesn't cool enough before leaving the radiator.
Just like the dude above me said check you hoses, the thermostat cuz if that thing is busted it retains water so it doesnt flow into the engine, third it might be your radiator that clogged up. Take it to a radiarot shop and have them clean the lines and that should pretty much do it............
