thats a good buy , try to come down to 5500.00 just becouse its not a built motor down here in texas iv seen built motors in hb like that for about the same price and they are built but at the same time that hatch has a lot of litle goodies like carbon fiber, hub wheel, etc so its not bad at all and looks good not riced out jdm look like

personally i would never! buy a car that has a frankenstein swap already in it.. (nothing against it just sumthing ide rather get done myself)

plus you know its been raced so who knows how much life is left in the current setup. but if you no more about it than i do than it all up to you. good luck tho

Does he have reciepts for any of the work who did the work a reputable shop or did he do it?I wouldn't personally buy it in the post it says the car has NOS, you have no idea how big of shot he runs or has ran there could be permanent damage done to the engine. I would also be extremely careful buying a modded car, and remember just because it pulls hard doesn't mean it runs well.

what do you guys mean when you say a Frankenstein swap?? is a b20 in a hatchback not common?? i also emailed the guy and asked for more pic and more details of the car. also if i where to buy a car similar to this how reliable and how fast would something like this be. i know u cant give me a specific number but what would your best guess be for a 1/8 mile time or 1/4??? also what would some ball park hp numbers be thanks again??

b20 swaps are common yes.. but ones with a vtec head are not.. there for its considered a frankenstein swap. a "frankenstein swap" is using a larger displacement block (LS/B20) with a vtec head(GSR/B16). correct me if im worng. reliable you never know.. like i said i wud never buy a frankenswapped car, u need alot well though out perfectly executed work done if you want it done right with good hp numbers nd reliability.
