Default Just found out my Teg has Civic knuckles on it..need help quick!!!

Yes, bought a 98 GSR shell from aution with no motor and just found out it has the following knuckles on it:

SOL-13
SR-R-13

These are two different Civic knuckles, I found out when buying the wheel bearing. They physically fit the 98 GSR, but I never had a motor in it to road test it. Will these work? I am concerned about the following issues:

1.) Will they effect steering/alignment?
2.) Will my Teg driveshafts fit in these Civic hubs?
3.) What does the 13 mean in the part #?
4.) Will this effect my brakes (will I need Civic calipers, etc..)
5.) Will my wheel size be effected?

I anyone can shed some light you will be helping me a lot, since I have a guy lined up to press in the bearings in the morning.

Thanks!!!!

Integra/Civic knuckles are identical. Just use your knuckles and install all your Integra calipers/brackets/rotors onto it. It'll all fit.

Not if they are the Civic DX knuckles.

well , they were on the car when it had no motor, so I have to think they will work. I could not find anything that corresponds to the casting numbers I posted above. Anyways, I bought the Civic wheel bearings and put them in, we'll see what happens...

Actually, the bearing I found that will fit my knuckle is a 44300-S04-008 which is listed as a Civic DX, but it physically fits on the 98 GSR so what is the problem with DX knuckles on a Teg? Just wondering if I might run into problems down the road with steering/alignment/or driveshafts, etc?

dx knuckles will work with dx brakes and calipers etc. smaller but they will work. just get ex knuckles or integra knuckles and put it back together the right way

buy mine that i have laying around... the only thing wrong with them is that you'll need new lower ball joints... no calipers, no rotors. get legend/ITR/nsx calipers and prelude vtec rotors and call it a day

well, I need the calipers anyways so the DX brakes will work? I know the right fix is to get the correct knuckles, but these are in good shape, and now have brand new wheel bearings.

Another thing, I thought I have heard of Civic guys upgrading their knuckles to Teg knuckles to get the bigger brakes....now does that EXCLUDE the civic dx from what you are saying above? Also, what brakes are compatable with the civic DX if I wanted to upgrade them? Conisdering I have no brake components at this point, I have the freedom to choose what I want. But replacing the knuckle at this point would be a loss of time and money. BTW I have a set of Teg calipers (LS) laying around from another car, but I guess these wont fit?

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate the help.

If u insist on stayin with those knuckles, i dont think any other caliper will work w/o modification. Your best bet if you stay with them, get better brake pads and rotors. g/l
