Does the engine have to be completly cold to bleed?

Default Does the engine have to be completly cold to bleed?

well i need to bleed the coolant and the car has been sitting for a couple hours now. should i let it sit at least over night or is it fine to do it now?

it's safe. Just open the cap slowly with a rag over it if you're worried.

oh im not worried about that, i already opened it. just wondering if the motor had to be completely cool before I could bleed it.
