well i noticed that my idle is not too steady. it kinda goes btw 700-1000 rpms when it sits. and when it sits at 600-700, it shakes sometimes. like its about to shut off, but it doesn't. i rev the motor a little bit just to get it back up to 1000 and it stays, for about 2 seconds. does anyone know what it could be? im sure its something simple. my injectors aren't clogged, my distributor is new, i have new ngk spark plugs and wires, so i don't really know what it could be.
I can not stress enuf the importance of bleeding the coolant system after u do any work on it!
I had just about every idle and surging problem listed on this site. Even though i blead the coolant system properly but i sure didnt!
Do these steps:
Clean you iacv
Clean your TB
Check your TPS
Set base idle to 750 rpm (make sure you do it with the iacv unpluged)
Hook iacv up and bleed coolant system. (rad fan must turn on and off 3 times and you will probally need to hold the throttle open part way to get it that warm and make sure the rad cap is off)
Doing this in this order will 9/10 time fix the issue.

instead of taking off the rad cap, you could just use the coolant bleed screw

Sorry i keep forgetting that you guys got a bleeder screw. My Canadian y8 doesn't have a bleeder on the tstat housing so i just pull the cap.
