Possible CV Joint?
So i drive a 98 Civic Ex.....and a few days i started here an awful noise....when im going straight its a clicking noise....and when i turn the wheels its more of a clunking/metal grinding kinda noise....i have no clue what this could be i thought mabye a cv joint? any help will be appreciated...thanks
ya sounds like it could be..
try jack up your car and take a better look at the cv shafts
look at the boot.. see if it needs to be changed
and then look inside of the boot to see if there is metal shavings

Sounds like you thought right. Those are classic CV symptoms. Is it worse (the sound) turning one way than another?
I don't know that I'd go pulling the boot unless you're prepared to reband it.
