I know I must wire in VTEC to a CX hatch for b16a2's vtec to work, but don't I also need to wire in the evap purge solenoid, knock sensor, ect? from the A20 pinout on the p28 ecu where do I go next? Which shock tower has the evap purge wires on it, I AM USING AN INTEGRA GSR WIRE HARNESS. I know vtec is on the pass side bottom of the 3 plugs and then goes to A4 and D6 to ecu. But my question is where is the evap purge wire(s) located on the harness ?????????

 

chip your stock ecu with phearable.net and get rid of the purge(jdm engines dont have them) and delete the knock sensor

 

you dont need evap purge, just run a vented gas cap, or put a vent on the top of the gas tank where the fume lines come off the gas tank to the charcole canister.

knock sensor can be added, its probably pined on the obd cable to the engine bay harness, but it probably isnt pinned on the engine harness, you just have to take a multimeter and find it.


wiring is easy.


you dont need evap purge, since there isnt a CEL code related to evap purge, also you can just vent all the stuff and most likely still pass emissions as evap purge is only active while cruise IMO.

your first mistake is using an integra harness on a civic.

 

Why disable the knock sensor? And after I get rid of the purge solenoid, then what? run what hoses to the holes on the maifold...its usdm not JDM !!!
