Didn't see a welcome page, so I made my own..

I'm 902, 1990 Accord LX 2dr, 5 spd. Quick little hussy! Stock, well kept, but 250K on her. About a quart of oil every 2k. Just bought ss header and downpipe assy from Tuner Pro on e bay. Less than 80 bux. Good deal or not? Haven't installed yet.

Anyway...is rust an issue on this car? or is it just mine? And what can I do?

I don't race anymore, gave it up with my Cutlass LQ1.

Any tips, critiques and ups and downs welcome.

Now I will wave.

 

Rust is an issue on any Honda. Quarter panels love to rust. If you're losing a quart of oil every 2k miles, I'de worry about fixing that before modding to go faster. Other than that, Welcome to Honda Tech.

wow i wish my car only burnt about 1 qt every 2000 mile. Mine burns a qt or 2 every 1000 miles!! pretty sure it needs some oil rings.
