MagnaFlow Header w/ High Flow Cat Combo
I just found what seems to be a new offering from MagnaFlow- a high flow manifold cat that's a direct bolt on. It's on procivic's website.
Has anyone used this part? What do HT memebers think?

i think thats pretty sick if your car is one of the one's listed, but i haven't heard anything about it. i like magnaflow and have never had a problem with them or their product.
I also think this could be a nice mod for those of us with stock manifold cats, dependin on performance. Honestly, I was surprised to see this for sale as aftermarket companies rarely come out with such a part.
I've been searching and found a 92-00 SOHC D-series Strup Racing Header on modacar.com for $289. It is a 4-2-1 design, much like the DC one-piece header, but it comes in stainless steel. I can pick up a universal magnaflow cat for about $80.
For about $450, I could have a SS header, magnaflow cat w/O2 wires lengthened, welded and installed. For $550 + shipping and install, I could get the Magnaflow high flow cat combo mated to my current catback system. What do you peeps think I should do??

Well, I'm trying to compromise between cost, quality and performance.
I'm willing to pay extra for a quality header, even better if it's stainless and priced lower than the DC piece. Never heard of jvtr...I know I can get a ebay replica header for ~$100, but would always be worried about it falling apart.
Any other opinions?

Thanks for that information.
MrX- How long have you had the header? Did you notice any gains with the rest of your setup? How about sound- loud? raspy?
That's a good deal for a new header and cat.

MrX- Can you tell me how long you ran the header for? Does the vibrant cat have a boss for the second O2 sensor? We don't have SMOG here, but still need to pass emissions so I can't run with a CEL on...thanks!
