Default Apex'i N1 Cat-back

I already did a search on this and did not fnd what I was looking for.

I have a 1997 Civic Ex Coupe, and I want to get an Apex'i N1 cat-back for it. I have a few questions for you guys...

1.)How big is the piping?? 2.25" 2.5" ???

2.)How does it sound?? Low and deep, pissed of swarm of bees???

3.)On the coupe, does the canister scrape a lot (I will be lowered 1.5")

4.)Where is the best place to get one, the cheapest I have found is approx $450

5.)If possible, you guys with 6g coupes, could you post some pics??

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

IMO the N1 is very loud a raspy but good top end... get it if you dont mind listening to your exhaust as opposed to the radio or something while in the car.... I say Apexi WS is the way to go it gives good power... and its not loud and annoying

oh and I believe its 2.5 dont quote me though

1. 2.25 might be 2.5

2. Loud and deep, sounds great at v-tec

3. Yea that **** will scrap... It scrapes on my friend Ej and he's isn't even lowered. avoid speed bumps and pot holes, think about install a scrap plate on the bottom where it scrapes the most

4. https://honda-tech.com try the classifieds, just ask

5. I don't have pics on my car but it looks good

i have the apex'i N1 catback on my 97 hatch, and it sounds very low and deep, i like it.

the way mine hangs, it's very close to the ground, so i do scrape a lot, but its easy to avoid as well. here's a pic of it on my hatch, i dunno what it'd be like for a coupe.

i was gonna get the n1 for the hatch too...but they messed up the piping...put that BIG *** bend at the end...i thought it was ment as a straight pipe? when i saw that on an ek, i figured thats just for looks, i decided on the greddy....love that greddy sound...i heard the n1 i like the sound wit the silencer, w/o its a bit annoying..get WS or Greddy Sp, peace

1) Loud, especially when you hit VTEC.

2) I have an EJ, and it doesn't scrape. I think the older ones had a big *** bend at the back. In fact, mine is pretty straight, not a big bend downwards at all.

3) I got mine for $450.

4) Looks damn good. My first choice was the Skunk2, but I'm happy.

5) Good power.

hey whats up i have an EJ with the N1 and i only scrape a little. I had the preformance shop i go to make a custom exhaust for me which goes under the lower control arm, and since getting it out of the shop i've only scraped in two are three times. My car is lowered to the very bottom of my skunk coilovers so its not too bad. JUST BE CAREFUL!!!! email me if you need pictures...

Nice pics CivicSiRacer.. I also have the N1 catback on my 00 Si. The piping diameter is 60 mm (2.37"). The exhaust is loud, but I like it, and am used to it. Never used the silencer. IMO why get an N1 stsytem if you're gonna eliminate the gains from it with the silencer in place. My car is at stock height, and not a scratch on my N1 canister or piping. If you are lowered be careful. Overall a nice exhaust system. Look into Skunk2/RSR Invidia catback. That is also very nice, fully polished stainless (60mm). Good luck..
