i have the N1 on my teg and the WS on my civic and a DCsport on my crx. I love them all. But it depends on what you are looking for. the N1 looks pimp as hell and isnt too loud b/c its turboed, the WS is always quite and it looks really clean but very restrictive, and the DC is loud but restrictive. It all depends on what you are looking for.

The WS is restrictive? I thought that it was one of the more flowing ones than anything. What is restrictive on it? The piping or the muffler itself? I was thinking about getting that one for my gf's 98 coupe but that I know it's restrictive I would rethink it. Of course for her, noise level is first priority. So confused

the WS and the RS*R EXMAG are more restrictive because the muffler on both exhaust is chambered rather than straight through, this is how they are made more quiet. it's still much much better than stock, just not as free flowing as the N1. It's chambered to make it quiet. you can choose more quiet or more free flowing, not both. i love my RS*R and couldn't imagine having to drive around listening to an N1 all day.

I want an exhaust that flows really good but is not too loud...what are my options??
You say that your N1 isnt too loud b/c its turboed...what if my car is not turboed, how is the N1 gonna sound?

here are a couple pics of my WS on my civic...
so.... you can probably tell taht it's not too noticeable.
from my install: the piping is all mandrel bent 60mm (~2.36 inches) steel. the muffler is HUGE, probably the same size, if not bigger than the stock muffler... i really wouldnt worry about flow too much... the quality and sound of this exhaust is second to none. not a hint of raspiness, only a nice deep tone that sounds great under engine braking.

I personally dont like how the n1 sounds on a n/a car. It sound alright with the silencer in it. It looks really good though. Its hard to find an exhaust that flows good thats not too loud.

here are the sound clips i got for you (and anyone else who wants to hear an Apexi World Sport exhaust on a 97 Civic LX)... clip #8 is REALLY loud... my microphone person put the mic about a foot from the exhaust tip. and on clip #2, i managed to knock the mic off the dash with my shift... and #9 is taken from my intake area, so it's not an exhaust sound

The Skunk2 is a nice exhaust also. Noi has it on his car and i can barely hear it. Even with the silencer on, it's still pretty quiet. It's also a straight through design so it won't be so restrictive. But if I were to pick from your choices, I would get the N1.

Whats the deal with everyone trying to make the WS sound shitty by saying it is restrictive? It is an awesome exhaust that makes good power and doesn't make a **** load of noise. If it was that restrictive why do so many people on this board chose it. I have one on my turboed civic. I love it. Newgsrdriver the intergra mod has one on his supercharged integra. He loves it. It is a quality exhaust for any application. It looks nice, is easy to install, and is not that expensive.
