the company "boomslang" makes harnesses to convert obd2 to obd1. . . and i was wondering is it going to be a hassle to swap my ek 96-up to a 92-95 single cam si motor??? has any one did this swap??? can u guys tell me what the essentials to do this swap???

Ecu harness adaptor, dizzy adaptor, and a couple other little wiring issues. Was your EK a vtec model Civic?

 

no my ek is a 96 dx model.. .. ..

 

Get the whole harness, ECU, and such for the Z6. If you wanna save yourself the trouble (considering your bottom block is fine and you don't really care about how much "better" the z6 oil pump flows), do a mini-me y8 head on the d16y7 block and wire it for VTEC and its basically the same thing except for the transmission ratios.
