h23 vtec
okay i know what everyone is going to say, SEARCH and i have but i cant find anything that answers my questions, so he it goes. I ve been reading on how people do the h23 vtec and how you gain cause of he displacment and the stroke, but how it wont last cause its not made for the abuse of the high revs or how you cant rev high and what not. My question is there a way to build a strong h23 block to handle high revs and the abuse? Im in the proces of building a h22 head o swap out in my h22 and i started to get a knock noise so im sure my engine is going to give since i almost have the head done i rather just build a h23 cause of the displacement and the stroke but i dont want to if its not going to handle, know what i mean. so far it the head i have full pnp skunk 2 stage 2 head package skunk2 im and a s300 so yeah. so any imput help would greatly appreciated i really dont want to buy a h23 put the built head and not be able to rev highlike the head is intended to do so thanks in advance
precision measurements/install
balance the rotating assembly
run top of the line oil
light parts
good tuning
rod:stroke ratio is just a theory.
