After you spray the paint and on the surface the paint starts to bubble. The bubbles look like the peel of an orange.

orange peel is what happens on a surface when not enough or uneven coverage of clear coat. some orange peel could look dry (not enough clear) and some look really rough and wet looking usually meaning too much clear sprayed from a further distance and not enough cure time(flash) time in between coats. orange can be remedied by wet sanding then buffing. when applying clear be sure to clean the surface well and make consistent controlled passes making sure to mind your wet edge.... good luck!!

btw... paint does not cause orange peel.... paint does not "bubble"..... improper use and spraying of clear will cause orange peel....
