Can someone tell me the main difference between the replica and authenic mugen front lip for eg hatche other then the fact that the lip goes over the bumper where the vents are. Thanks.


And does the mugen "plate" or "stickers" origionally comes with the lip or is that an additional that needs to be purchase as well. Thanks

what that i know of. the real "mugen" lip has a stamp inside saying "mugen" the knocks of course wont have it.

 

the replica and the real mugen lip is the same from what ive seen....and as far as the mugen plate...mine came with it wen i had bought it

thats only for fiberglass, lips are abs plastic so they don't have the stamp. all lips and bumpers come with the mugen metal badge. do you have a pic of your lip, i can tell if its real or not

 

No, i can get a pic of it tho. It dont have the"stamp"/"badge" so im guessing its a replica. The lipgoes over the bumper where the vents are though.

Fitment fits GREAT. The only thing that is leading me to believe that it's a replica is that there is no badge.

hey guys umm sorry to thread jack but i got a quick question well im selling my mugen lip off my ek coupe (recently traded and dont like the mugen lips so selling it) well i wasent shure if it was a replica or real so when i took it off yesterday on the inside of the lip it has a tag saying Mugen Lip for 96-98 w/e and has it in japanese etc but theres no metal badge like my old JDM type R lip had the exact same tag "BUT" also a badge this one im not shure any1 kno?? & sorry again bout thread jacking just wanna kno
