Default itr lca's on eg (del sol)

having a problem getting the bottom of the strut assembly to slide over the itr lca. im sure its a common mod but its my first time. how do i get it to bolt on? its lookin like i need to buy aftermarket lca's or new struts, but like a thousand people on here told me they'd fit.

What kind of struts do you have? Are they the fork style or the eye (ITR) style?

ITR LCA's need the eye-type struts.

You'll have to use standard (non ITR) arms then.

There is no real advantage either way.

i understand there is not, but there is an advantage when you bolt a sway bar onto it. my stock arms dont have a hole for sway bar endlinks. so it looks like im gonna be buying a set of blox lca's or something similar. lemme know if you need a set of itr lca's

Any EG Si LCA will work as will any DC/DB Integra LCA. They have swaybar provisions, and will accept a fork-type shock. They can be had for really cheap too. Blox are junk....the bushings are notorious for separating from the sleeves

i know ive done a bunch of research and from what i can tell it goes back and forth between "they're good" and "dude blox sucks cuz of the bushings", im tight on money at the moment, and this is the second set of LCA's i've bought for the same project, so i can upgrade if i feel like it later . The mis-information i got was horrible i had at least 10 people tell me itr lca's will work for an eg del sol. FTL

yeah, but after spending a decent chunk of change on a shock/spring combo i dont really feel like changing out the rear shocks and dealing with that nightmare again. so yes, they left that vital detail out.

Just get oem eg/dc sway bar lca's... Best bet if you're going to get them brand new is to go to Honda and ask for Del Sol vtec ones... They're (probably) less likely to be at an inflated price compared to ordering teg ones from acura.
