Ditch those other "for show" parts and buy an I/H/E instead. The stock exterior looks just fine.

i already said

plus got my reason for doing "for show" parts 1st.

which is;

1st of all, i like them.

2nd, im gonna be doing Auto-X. so i wanted to do some races completely stock 1st.

so i get a feel for the differences the parts made, other than getting to lights faster and making more noise.

Ignore what I said above and keep doing what you're doing. Stick with your plans.

You might want to think twice about the "6k HIDs"...

Try to get something closer to 4,300k which will put more useful light on the ground...

http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/ a good site with lots of HID information.

I wouldn't do anything over 8k. 6k is still fairly close to the optimal color temp. I just wouldn't do any of these crazy 12k-30k hid's.

just got fogs installed this afternoon...

few things kinda pissed me off though....

- the [freak]er forgot to ship them w/ the washers required to keep them on the front bumper so they being held on by zipties atm

- 1 bulb is in yellow and the other is in white so looks retarded.

- the switch hardly fit so i had to sand it down to enter, and the LED's on the switch is a different color then the rest of the interior so thats pretty gay.

just sent a message to the guy to see what he says...

heres the pics...

what you guys think?

well update..

fogs stopped working about a week ago for no reason, got 2 send it back for a replacement, just didnt have time to take them off yet.

and did my 1st auto-x event ever.

Was amazed how good the dc5 handles.

Also i realized how important tires really are for auto-x.

these are getting bald and also did the event w/ the tire pressure at 32psi

so was loosing grip like a m/f.

Did pretty decent for 1st time.

Beat times of 2 s2k's there, a 240 and some gti's and didnt check the times after that so idk if anything else.

well heres a couple pics.

the 2 of me at the track are watermarked.

dont have the money to buy them atm.
