Default What octane gas can we use?

Im thinking of getting an Odessey Van and a Pilot 4WD. I know they have Vtec engines, but is it safe to use 87 octane gas in them? Ive always put 91 or higher in my cars with Vtec (ie..GSR, Prelude, and TL-S) and I really dont want to start putting in 93 with gas being what the price is and all. Most pumps dont even have 91 anymore. Anyone running 87? Any problems?

Odyssey's and Pilots only require 87 octane.
