Default 1997 vs. 1998 USDM Type R Gauge Cluster??

Is there a difference between the two? I recently installed a MUGEN Cluster with the 98+ USDM green film and the gas gauge doesnt work. So do I need to find 94-97 film or recheck the connections? Thanks in advance

There is a difference between the two. The fuel gauge and seatbelt wires are in different locations. The ABS wire is also on the SRS plug in 98-01 while on the main harness in 94-97.

I HIGHLY suggest you putting the 98 film back onto the 98 cluster housing, then swap the Mugen gauges into the housing.

Put the Mugen gauges into the 97 cluster housing with the 97 film.

He doesn't have the 97 cluster. I do. Shaun, it looks like you'll have to buy my Mugen cluster after all. Haha.
