Default just bought a 99 si.

and i got a CPS CEL. the guy who sold it to me swapped a jdm b16a and showed me that the harnes for the crank sensor is still there... but its missing the sensor TO the motor. so the other sensor is just hanging in the engine bay.

my question: what sensor must i buy, where can i buy it, and would i be able to do it myself?

he said that and a oil leak in the distributer gasket is the only thing wrong with the car. still revs happily to red line and he was using it as a daily like that. said he disnt have problem with it, but if i wanna get rid of CEL thats what i need.

that sensor shouldnt cost too much... i got mine at dealer cost for just a little over 30 bucks but retail could be alot more. as for the distributor there is an o-ring that you can replace. it only costs like 2 bucks and they get hard and need replaced every so often.
