Default 1.4 dual carb

Is this a good engine cause apparently haynes never made a car manual for it. ( haynes is what we have in england) Anyway i assume its very reliable seeing as its honda, but im not really sure about doing any work myself on it becasue there is no manual as a guide. So can you get a manual for and do you know where i can pick one up.
and can i get a copy of a handbook that came with the car when it was new cause i rang my garage and they said the car was too old and they did not print them any more

There's never a 1.4L engine in U.S. spec Honda Civic. Next to England, I would try Australia, since they print in English. You may even try other english speaking countries where they drive on the right side, if you don't read in other languages.
